Welcome to Pow Wow

A decentralized platform free of censorship where an audience gets to engage with influential members of society (e.g. celebrities, politicians) and ask meaningful questions on livestream. The audience will have the ability to enter their questions or discussions into a chat, from which the most asked or upvoted topics will move toward the top of the question chain. Therefore, the influencers will be answering questions and speaking about topics that the audience truly cares about.

Our mission is to empower the average person to converse with influential individuals and ask meaningful questions instead of delegating that duty to members of the traditional media.

Current centralized platforms such as Twitch, Youtube, Instagram Live, and Clubhouse, have done a good job of letting influential members of society livestream to a specific audience. However, most members of the audience leave the conversation feeling unsatisfied with this interaction as there was no real connection between the two sides. When you see a politician or celebrity livestreaming, it is usually about topics they want to share. When you see a politician or celebrity being interviewed, it is usually about what the interviewer wants to know. The audience has no control over the discussion - this leads to a bad experience for audience members.

Instead of being fed narratives by traditional media sources, PowWow lets the audience control the narrative through the livestream. The audience as a collective group gets to decide the topics to be discussed and ask questions that really matter to them.

This is how it works:

• An audience member would join the livestream where they would have the option to enter a question or discussion topic in the chat box.
• The question could then be upvoted or downvoted by other members of the audience to determine what matters the most.
• As questions or topics get upvoted, the influencer leading the livestream would know which topics to talk about or questions to answer.

This would also allow the influencer to further improve engagement with the audience and create a win-win scenario for the audience and influencer.

Politicians: Go live on PowWow and connect with your voters and answer questions that are commonly asked within the community. Using PowWow the politician gets a better understanding of the issues that the community cares about the most. No more going on Live TV and pandering to the big networks. No censorship means that Politicians will not be shadowbanned.

Celebrities/Artists: Go live on Pow Wow and connect with your fans and get a glimpse of what they really want to know about you and what they want to talk about. Pow Wow allows for a fun Q&A type of conversation-making the experience more valuable. This ranges all the way from a writer releasing a new book and wants to promote it to his closest fans. The writer then gets to answer the most desired questions live on stream.

PowWow is not limited to famous celebrities/artists but also could be valuable to big tech companies. This platform will allow companies to go live on stream and directly engage with the users of their products and answer questions that are most eagerly asked within the community.
